Professional hands you can trust
Originally from Thailand with medical background, I found that Traditional Thai massage to be very effective for stress reduction and relaxation, reducing muscle tension, getting rid of muscle knots, gaining more range of movement, managing the discomforts caused by prolonged sitting and alleviating aches and pains. In the past experience was that my shoulders and neck held a lot of tension due to working for long hours. Receiving several Thai massages and seeing how effective it was led me to take the Traditional Thai massage course of Wat Po traditional medical school in Thailand. I’ve been practicing Thai massage in Toronto since 2010.
In January 2013, I decided to go to a massage school in Toronto. My training at Sutherland-Chan School was very hands on, and I had the opportunity through the student clinic and various outreach programs to work with very diverse groups of people. I have worked with cancer patients who receiving chemotherapy and radiation, palliative care patients, and with those suffering from chronic pain muscle weakness, muscle atrophy, neurological pain due to stroke.
My treatments range from relaxation massage to therapeutic treatments injuries, muscle pain and discomfort. As a massage therapist I incorporate a variety of gentle and deep techniques into my treatments such as Thai and Swedish, stretching, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and passive movement to achieve the best possible results. I enjoy meeting new people and working one on one with my clients to determine which of techniques work best for them. I believe that everyone can benefit from massage therapy, whether it is to decrease stress, or to prevent and treat injury.
Massage offers a drug-free and personal approach to wellness based on the body’s natural ability to heal itself. The ability to adapt my skills allows me to provide the most suitable techniques and pressure for each individual client.
